OpenSky

Dear Readers:

No, I’m not speaking pilot jargon.

I’m not getting ready to fly a kite.

I am not becoming a weatherwoman.

As exciting as all the above activities are, what I’m about to do is actually far more exciting.  In fact, it actually might be even more exciting for you than for me… which none of the other activities can attest to… unless you live for the weather channel or you’re Benjamin Franklin (etc.).

The real news is that I am going to be an OpenSky seller.  In eleven short days.  What does this mean, you ask?  It means many happy dances.

You know how I’m constantly linking different ingredients and appliances I use to random sites where you can learn more about them and/or buy them?  I figured we need some continuity.  A little organization.  I don’t like messy.  But I love to share!  And I get questions all the time regarding the different products I use!

The truth is, as good as those two reasons are, they don’t quite explain why I have so strong an urge to partner with OpenSky.  Here is my attempt to explain it as best as I can:  you know when you happen to have two friends of yours over for tea, two friends who are quite dear to you but are strangers to each other, and they just so happen to really hit it off and you all have a lovely time and everyone just LOVES each other?  Yeah, that’s pretty much how I feel about my garlic press and my readers.  That is the feeling I long for regarding Coconut Bliss and you.  I just want y’all to love each other too so that then we can all just…um… be in love.  Together.

So… OpenSky is my solution. OpenSky believes the best way to shop is to buy from people you know and trust, and to sell only things you love and endorse. They’re some smart cookies, huh?  In my OpenSky store, you will be able to find all the products I know personally, absolutely adore, and want to sing about from mountain tops.

On that note, I ask you to stay tuned, let me know if there’s anything on my blog you definitely want to see in my store, and in the meantime, go fly a kite or something.

Love, Desi

P.S.  You may or may not have guessed at this point that the upcoming surprise giveaway has a little something to do with OpenSky… Muahaha… Enter yourself to be eligible if you haven’t already!

P.P.S. Though my sale’s pitch of a photo clearly makes an excellent marketing tool, I will not be selling “Desiree” Wafer Cookies featured above.  They are, unfortunately, not gluten free.  Or free of anything.  In fact, I don’t even know how they taste.  I only took that photo in Epcot’s “Germany “because… well… they’re called “Desiree” anddddd… that’s my name.

Okay, I am still taking baby steps. Coconut milk on cereal(goodbye mornig fatigue), trying to make a potato dish that isn’t dry and gross and dreaming of a cheesy salad dressing… well that has no cheese. But, I love the inspiration to us newbie’s.

P.S. I have seen the picture MM in the pumpkin costume and Barbara Eden ain’t got noth’n on that!

    • HAHAHA! Thank you for the kind words about my pumpkin garb. What kind of potato dish are you looking for? And regarding a cheesy salad dressing, does “no cheese” exclude goat and sheep as well? (I ask these questions because, oh, I don’t know… I like culinary experimentation + problem solving! wink, wink). And also – hooray for baby steps! And no more morning fatigue! Keep on truckin’! ;o)
